Drew and Amanda love Game of Thrones. Naturally, we get along.
Drew sleepwalks. But it an intense type of sleepwalking, the kind where he has full on conversations and gets upset when you respond. He also protects Amanda and himself from the Lannister’s (Game of Thrones reference for those who live under a rock) henchman in his sleep and knocks over whole tables in the process of preventing their beheading. Seriously.
In two days, they’re getting married. Drew had an inkling after their first date four years ago, that the crazy beautiful German, Lithuanian and Mexican brunette sitting across from him might just be the one he’d spend the rest of his life exploring with, cooking, raising kids, and of course sleepwalking next to night after night. He was right.
On Tuesday night, we went on a little Montana adventure to my super secret and favorite places from Big Sky to Bozeman. Montana impressed that night. From bald eagles, to herds of bison, to beautiful blue skies, all topped off with unheard of warm weather for May. And we explored until we were starving and our bare arms were stinging from the late evening breeze. And we explored a little more because there was just one more place we had to go. It’s the first picture and you can see it was worth it.
I love these two and am so happy that they’re here in Montana with the people they love most just nights away from beginning the next part of their adventure together. Amanda said it best. Four years together has molded them into the strongest, best versions of themselves. Imagine the people they will become in 10, 20 and 30 years of embracing life and chasing dreams together.
Thank you two for inviting me into your lives. I am so grateful and excited for you two!
